Last year I had an idea for my dinner table. I created a new table with a mathematical pattern created by different amount of layers of stain (sort of semi-transparent lacquer). By using more layers, the stain becomes darker. So with the right pattern on the right kind of wood and the right amount of layers, you get an amazing, unique result. A way more beautiful and longer lasting result than working with veneer. The stain draws into the wood but the pattern remains sharp as a knife and in the final result you still see the wood grains running across the table. After this very succesfull try-out, I immediatly received orders for more tables. So for now, I make one table a month. A very unique table in every size, height, kind of wood and pattern you desire!
